Hmm wasnt all that bad

But am i the only one who thinks you should submit a game untill its finished? I mean, i wasnt expecting the boss to be "In production" you should take your time with it, theres not much point in submitting it before its complete, youll just get bad ratings and bad reviews.
The gameplay was nice, it seemed a bit slow paced though for me, his grab was slow and if i tapped it twice, then it would que up. This didnt happen if i tapped it more than twice, if i did, then he would just go for it once. That has nothing to do with the "memory leak" its just the original programming. The sound was bearable and it didnt seem to get boring, and if it did it would need a mute button. It was an alright game, although a bit of a let down having to wait untill its truelly done, and even then it might be off front page or blammed, who knows.

Well, it seems you know what you're talking about... in part.

I've addressed this a few times, but once more, for you: this game was submitted early because I had to make the deadline for a contest. I would never submit it like this otherwise.

You're right about the grabbing having nothing to do with the memory leak. Tapping twice and having it queue up is attributed to lag. If you didn't have lag, it wouldn't do that. This even happens in professional 3D games, so you can't blame me for that (just try it sometime, make a game run at like 14fps and it will start queueing keyboard input). It's how Windows treats keyboard input when a program is running slower than it should be. Try downloading the stand-alone version, which runs so much faster than the browser version.

"...and even then it might be off front page or blammed, who knows." Yeah, right.

Thanks for your review!

Great

Absolutely amazing, very well done.
I loved this, its brilliant. The idea of a simulator is new now a days, instead of just movies, you really saw the gap in submissions. The artwork wasnt too bad, the sound was standable. Although i almost did the same thing everyday it didnt get boring at all, i played this for a few hours solid. Very addictive and I'm definately rating this a 5. A "Ground Breaker" if you will, haha.
Keep up the great work, i hope to see more of your work.

Not too bad!

An RPG is always refreshing, well played!
There is one thing i would like to know though. How did you manage the save/load feature, i would really really really appreciate a reply. Im working on something that would could greatly benifit from a save/load feature. Thanks for your time.

A little hint for the game, maybe you could skip the little animation where he picks up the magic stone, see-ing it 50 times... is a bit infuriating.

Well thats all i got for you, cheers.

I'm really sorry I don't have a link to the tutorial, but it's on w w w . f l a s h k i t . c o m. Just search for: save and load with cookies, because I used cookies to save the variables on a cookie on your computer, if it's enabled, then when you load, I just tell all the variables to equal the variables on the cookies. It's quite nice. But ya, the tutorial should be on w w w . f l a s h k i t . c o m.

Potential

not bad i guess... i cant really think of any more ... its 5:43 am... bed now... me go..

Wow

Very nice. very nice indeed, its hard to play on a laptop but im giving you the benifit of the doubt, i agree with previous members when they say this should be on the front page. I hope to see more off your work in the future, its good stuff! Good luck and keep up the great work!

It wasnt bad, but still

Not really front page material... Too short, not interactive enough, not really all that interesting, and before you know it, its over, it was cute as hell and would be a good mini game for a bigger submission... Front page is going down hill... Either that or there are no good submissions now a days, not saying this is bad, just saying its not good

Not too bad

Played 32 seconds of it... Got the idea and quit. Maybe it gets better the higher the level? I will never know...

Keep up the good work i guess...

Haha

I love you DK... C? DICK? i have no idea... musnt love you as much as i thought i did then.... You're animations are always cumming out great. I just love how you're flashes just spurt out of nowhere and leave a smile on my face. I wouldnt mind more of this creamy goodness, anytime, anyplace. It's imperitive that you keep it up... The standard of your work i meant. -Thinks off more possible puns...- Hmmm looks like im all spent... Oh.. one more.. fantastic...

Meh

If your not the creators of Defend your castle then im going to kill you... Very un-original really, all you did was add a few more spells and make it so that the enemys came from the right and your castle was on the left... "But drop is the new version of play which is EXTREMELY addicting..." yea mayhaps, but its also not new at all, you didnt even credit the makers of defend your castle for stealing their game and modding it... but all this what ive just said is under the impression that you are not the makers of DYC... if you are then... nice try at reviving your all game but move on....

Meh

Not too bad but Machismo? what the fuck are you talking about, two things you fuck tard, this is a miniclip based game and how can you commment on other peoples nick when yours is machismo? you stupid moron... "do not dare rather partake on the exodus" ??? you complete smack tard

I reckon Ken is the best street fighter character because he is so versatile. Opponent keeps guarding? Just use his throw. That's just one of his many moves that can help you win titles.
