Daft Punk wheyyyyyyyyyyy

Love the Music you used, even though the flash itself was... pretty... shocking.

Try harder next time man, YOU CAN DO IT!

Brilliant!

Haha, I loved this.

Everything about this was great. The voice acting was clear and the dialogue superb, the animation was smooth and suited the type of story.

You say you're no animator? I say you are! It would be nice to see your comic illustrations too.

Anyway, keep up the great work man!

Ace

Finally, a semi serious song from the master of silly!

I really enjoyed this, it was a great listen. The animation was brilliant, it really worked well with the music and you could really see and hear the effort put into both!

A nice break from your usual loops, keep up the great work!

Nice!

The animation and voices were as smooth as ever.

The plot was very nice, a little clichéd but you still added a fresh spin on things.

This did remind me a little of Black Adder- Back and Forth, which isn't a bad thing!

True genius.

Brilliant

Absolutely fantastic.

This is a great piece of work, truly deserving of front page.

The lack of sound adds to the atmosphere and accentuates the images. The pace IS slow, but never dull. The graphics were very simple, but enough to create an interesting flash. This is a great example of 'less is more'. As for the plot, it was straightforward and absorbing.

The ending was excellent, it was executed brilliantly. I'm glad the younger version seemed to move at an increased pace. The change in pace really did strengthen the idea of the flash; from old and frail, to young and healthy.

Great work man, I look forward to more of your stuff!

Not bad

The animation was sweet and the voice acting was nice and clear too!

I just felt it wasn't that funny, I did chuckle when JC made his entrance though, but that's it.

I thought the plot was a bit childish and a tad too American. It might have been funny had it not been too overdone already.

Not deserving of front page I don't think, but oh well.

Chakra-X responds:

Thanks! Full of cliche' I know, but that was kind of the point. I wanted Santa is have this ignorant, yet secretly tough guy, American attitude. I don't know why people think this is being overdone though, I've personally only seen South Park have Santa v.s terrorists.

It's been a while...

..Since I watched a foamy vid, I guess it wore a bit thin. But in this ep, he spouts the truth! It's quite easy to relate to really. At least from a viewers point of view, I haven't submitted anything and had it reposted and whatnot, but I can imagine it being quite frustrating and dumbfounding.

The dialogue was great, really well constructed and it had just the right amount of swearing in it, hah. Good stuff, Dude! Keep up the good work!

Haha, ace!

Really nicely done, had me going there! I thought it had disaster written all over it, but he managed to handle himself quite well! Well, I personally consider running down your best friend to be a good result...

Perhaps that's why I don't have any friends...

I guess it all started when I was five. You see, my....

Hot damn

A masterpiece, surely! This was pretty intense man, from the off.

The animation was really well done. It had a Ren and Stimpy feel to it, not just the animation, but how the Pigs were acting. The characters, all different. Each pig had it's own personality. Even though this doesn't appear to be a series, you've managed to, in one flash, create a world and given us a taste of it. I could rant for hours on how good this is! The part where he's at the door and his eyes are shifting! The part where he's on the automated walkway, nodding his head to the music, fantastic! The bit where he's glancing back and forth from his ticket to the ticket number counter, superb!

It's actually terrfiying the more and more it goes on. Starting at the hand. When you realise that Pig has gone in there with nothing to offer, you just think "Oh dear". When he tries to leave and gets grabbed, oh man, I leaned back in my chair, trying to distance myself from the monitor! Haha. The Piggybank idea with the coins is genius, truly. The humanoid is a nasty piece of work! I hated him at the end! The gluttonous bastard! Preying on those poor pigs! The eating scene is fucking brilliant. You've got such a brilliantly creative mind!

Words fail me! DESCRIBE WORDS, DESCRIBE!! You really stir up some emotions with this flash man! It's funny, scary and sad! A masterpiece I say! A MASTERPIECE! -Foams at the mouth-

SpamClamberton responds:

Someone get this man to the hospital!

I liked it

I thought it was pretty tranquil really.

As for there being no plot. There quite clearly is. The plot is of bubbles going around until being popped by a flower. There's your plot right there. How can something not have a plot? Fair enough, it can be a weak plot but it's there none the less. Shit, I've said plot so much it's starting to sound weird when I say it.

The animation was pretty sweet, very smooth and it flowed well. The music was nice and calm. Faggoty? Haha, seriously man.

I wouldn't call anything on Newgrounds a movie if you ask me, but you didn't. I think random shorts like these have as much place on NG as say, the Bitey flashes, which is what this reminded me of in a way. A nice forest scene with decent music.

The colours were cleverly done, and the shading mixed with the blur effect really helped create a sense of depth in the forest. Without showing too much of the sky (if any infact) you trapped the audience in what appeared to be a dense forest, with a thick canopy. That gave the forest a mystical feel, which was empowered by the blue-ish mist that lingered in the background. The blur effect was great, I loved it. It made the forest seem more detailed. You really do get the impression that you are visually focusing on the bubble, with everything in the foreground and background being out of focus. The bubbles themselves were animated really well, they looked really 3D and had a very natural feel to them as they floated about.

The music was very peaceful and really made the flash. Without it, the flash would have definitely lost all of its power. The light feel of the music didn't in any way distract you from the images. In fact, it almost seemed to guide you through the forest, along with the bubble.

I can't really fault this anywhere, the length was perfect for what this flash was. There are only a few things I can think of that threw me off a little. Firstly the ending credits come in a little too fast I think, and the change is music is too abrupt. The contrasting styles in music almost jerks you back to reality after being lost in the serene forest. The other thing is the text saying "Pop easily". The colour was a bit too close to the background colouring and there were too many of those blue dots around the text. I feel the white text used for "Bubbles" would of been completely acceptable had it been used again for the text "Pop easily". The background to the"Pop easily" text was less detailed and appeared flat in contrast to the other scenes. I like the fairy, it really changed the feel of the flash. With it, you really do have a magical forest.

This was a pretty good flash. One of those hidden gems that you're lucky to find. Keep up the good work man, you show a lot of potential. I can't wait to see more of your work.

Oh, and take that warning off! Haha.

CyanSandwich responds:

Thankyou for a wonderful (and detailed) review! I see where I went wrong. and right. My next flash will definitely be better though :)

I reckon Ken is the best street fighter character because he is so versatile. Opponent keeps guarding? Just use his throw. That's just one of his many moves that can help you win titles.
