Hey alright, this was pretty good.

It was very relaxing to watch. I think the music and pace of the flash helped that.

It was definitely enjoyable to watch, and funny when you could relate to stuff (pet teleportin').

Like I said, it gave off a very relaxing vibe, like you could sit back, chill and watch it, rather than a fast paced action packed flash where your pulled to and fro (nothing wrong with either, mind you). So it was refreshing in that aspect.

The animation was amazing, a very clever mix of both 3D and 2D. Plot is pretty interesting I must admit, you've done well to create a world in which the viewer knows little about and looks forward to learning more of. I mean, sure it's Minecraft, who hasn't heard of that and seen various parodies, but you've added mystery to this world and it's intriguin'.

Voice acting was kinda quiet, but otherwise fine. Music was ace, not just relaxing but audibly pleasant. I think it fit well with the pace and style of the flash.

Looking forward to the next part!

Hah, neat!

Sure, DBZ has been done to death. But who cares? I've not seen this kind of take on it so fair play!

Voice acting was actually pretty good!

Funny humour thoughout and decent punchline. Though I felt this was slightly drawn out, or at least, the Vegeta thing started to wear thin.

Great work!

Excellent.

LMFAO at the tags, really. Haha!!

Animation was great, really smooth and the voice acting really comic.

I enjoyed the frantic pace of this flash, but there's so many wee details that might slip past in all the confusion! Like faces they pull for about half a second, all that sort of stuff. Makes you wanna watch it again! Brilliant work!

Hah!

Excellent, a really good short. Awesome animation and voice acting, as ever.

I remember reading one of your comics with rage melon in, I think?

Awesome to see him in a flash!

Sexual-Lobster responds:

thanks.

yeh, ragemelon has been in a few.

Haha!

Excellent.

A nice wee short, funny if not predictable.

Great work, looking forward to seeing more from you.

I was thoroughly un-entertained.

Decent effort though.

Better luck next time.

Awesome.

Fantastic animation, and the voice acting was chilled out and believable.

Plot was hilarious, really.

The only complaint I got is the file size. I mean, it loaded quick enough, we're all on super fast connections these days right? But it's 147mb dude, that's nuts. I guess the animation was really size intensive.

I got mixed feelings about that, but I guess it's a moot point really. I watched it, and loved it. So who cares?

I feel lesser known artists might not get such treatment.

THERE I SAID IT.

"Hit me, beat the crap out of me, step on my cubes!"

Jae responds:

Hahaa yeah the file size isn't something I generally think about! We'll see if that ever improves ahah! Thanks for the review!

Hmm.

What to say?

First off, a lot of effort went into this, I can tell. And for that, you gain mega points.

Points for music, sound effects, characters, everything.

Everything but plot. I mean, the story was alright, just poorly executed in my opinion. It DID seem to drag, a lot, which took the gleam off of this for me. I mean, too much was going on at one time and the viewer is thrown about trying to keep up with it.

I really on kept watching because of the effort that was put into this. I do feel like a douchebag saying this cause of the effort but, it really didn't hold my interest.

Dog should have died ten times over I mean, the Hammer Bros chunked him and he got blown up how many times? In that respect, it kinda killed it for me. But hey, he's the hero, he can't die right? I get that, just don't make him invincible like ya did!

Bits just seemed... totally random, and where I'm an advocate for all things random; there's random, and then there's pointless.

Needle injection? Bacteria things hitting up his organs?? Unless that plays a part in the next part, I really didn't see the point.

Anyway, the music was great, and to see all the Nintendo related things was great, nostalgia ect, but that's pretty much it man.

Still, GREAT work, and I mean that. I do look forward to the next part, because I respect this piece cause of the effort you've put in. That really impressed me.

G'job Bro.

Excellent.

I was watching this, got about half way through, and realised that I never did finish watching the anime. So I stopped watching, then went to watch the 1986 anime film they made, then came back and watched this fully.

To be honest, the voice acting in this flash was on par, if not better than that of the actual film! Haha, really, some of the lines in the film are delivered so flat it's unreal. None the less, it was still awesome, just like this flash!

Ken waltzing along, with his top half plouging through the building was great. I like it how you even included the arrow/bolt that the guy shoots at him later, that was brilliant.

I don't know if it was intentional, but this flash had the same furious, unrelenting plot progression the film did. You're yanked about without having a moment to dwell on what has happened. Crazy! But I guess that's what happens when you try and squeeze a series down to a movie! Look at Akira! Messed up!!

Dialogue was amazing and the voice acting supreme. Would have liked to hear SirUndead's attempt at the famous "aaaaaaaaaaaaaa atatatatatatatatatatata!". Haha, that would be awesome!

The animation was actually REALLY good, especially when Ken's walking throwing out punches left and right, that bit was immense.

Top quality flash, on all fronts. Raising the bar for parodies/tributes.

Really, REALLY, look forward to more of your stuff.

MangaFood responds:

thanks, sirundead did attempt it, it was actually pretty funny but I thought it was like too cliched so i didn't put it in.

Haha!!

Excellent!

Great work, really creative, loved it.

Ending song just blew my mind.

I reckon Ken is the best street fighter character because he is so versatile. Opponent keeps guarding? Just use his throw. That's just one of his many moves that can help you win titles.
