Haha!! Amazing!

The mix of your own voice acting and clips from the show worked really well.

The animation was very complicated at times which shows you've got mental potential. The plot was hilarious and each day was seemingly better than the last.

My only complaint was maybe it moved a little slowly? But that's it.

Fantastic flash, really enjoyable. Some of the body language the Turtles were showing was really flexible, which gave them a lifelike feel! Like when April was getting kidnapped and Leonado crossed his arms over hit gonads, that was brilliant.

Haha!! thanks a lot for the detailed review! Hopefully my videos will just get better over time!

I think people are expecting a little too much of this really. Front page material? Sure, I reckon so. Look at the smooth animation with the water effects and the fire explosion when the fire chick lands.

To be honest, I personally think the animation was great, the clever use of lines within the water truly does make it feel that the water is swirling about.

The facial expressions of all characters (crab included) was great. You definitely portrayed each expression with a sense of believeabilty and an almost over the top feel to emphasise them.

The sound effects were decent, I've no complaints. Water sounded like water, and fire sounded like fire, great work. Music was cute and fitting of the "Idyllic desert island". It felt like a carribean beat.

The crab was cute as you like what with it hiding in the sands, I thought that was great and the "There was no survivors" joke actually made me laugh out loud it was so sudden.

Beaches and shores? Bitches and Whores? Brilliant.

I think the plot was simple, but that's fine. You don't need a trilogy in order to make a good story. Within this short flash is all you need to know, and if that's not cool with some people and leaves them feeling short changed, then they really need to look up the term "Short story".

Like when the Water chick rolls her eyes at the Fire chick, it seems her expression was lost on some of the reviewers here. Within that one eye roll, we're shown that these two have history and that they don't necessarily get along, which is proved only moments later. That gives depth to the story.

I think some people need to have things described to them in an auditory way for them to get what's happening.

That, or they have no imagination. I DUNNO.

Amazing.

Really, I'd give you muchos stars but I think I agree with you and mebe the paper background was a sort of cut corner. But still!

The animation was excellent, I feel you animated the characters more so right when something needed to be emphasised. The voice acting was AMAZING. Clear to hear, and the accent of the story teller and his use of the n word (PC PC!!) was done tactfully and always dropped at the right time.

I couldn't stop laughing at this, the humour was great and fit perfectly with the furious pace of the flash. Brilliant!

Again, I'd give you loads more Starrios but like, maybe even a paper background with more... background... drawn on it would have brought each location to life more. Though saying that, I found the lack of visual junk on the screen pleasant, and each thing that was on the screen was there for a specific purpose, so as to give both a sense of location and to highlight the current topic.

So actually, I think you got the balance alright. But still no more Starries, cause I'm a bad ass who just doesn't give a fuck and lives close to the edge.

I liked this. I felt that perhaps it moved a little slowly, but hey, whatever, it was still totally funny.

Animation wasn't half bad and the voice acting pretty decent. It only kinda had the one big gag in it but that's fine.

Three and a half stars is a lot, you can buy lots with that.

TravelSizedLions responds:

Hey, thanks for the feedback. Yeah, I'm aware that I've still got some pacing issues. It's one of the things I planned to improve on during the contest.

Man, this is just too good!

I couldn't possibly give out ALL MY stars for such a short piece, even though it probably deserves it on artwork, voice acting, plot, humour, racism.

Probably scratch the last one from that list.

Really though, your voice acting is excellent, so clear and crisp it's nigh on tangible I can almost bite it. Animation is obviously well done, with some really nice and smooth walking from tails.

The random quotes he was spouting made me laugh and when he said "Yeah suck my dick!" I literally choked on my food (45 pence bourbons from Tescos, if you haven't tried them yet, do so).

Excellent work, really looking forward to more of your stuff.

Why haven't I reviewed this yet? Or favourited it?

I remember watching it years ago and being awestruck by it.

The animation was decent, at times it was stiff, other times that seemed to work in the favour of the feeling of the flash.

The sound effects were great and re-deads are plenty scary enough with their hideous scream.

Overall, this flash is brilliant. I feel the plot was actually quite strong and that's why it's got so many STARS. YAY STARS!

With so many Zelda flashes out there, I felt that you really made it your own with your style and storytelling, rather than resort to a limp, skill-less parody.

Excellent work, keep it up! Looking forward to more of your work.

Eastbeast responds:

Thanks for your review, I'm glad it effected you. it has been awhile since I looked back at this too by the way haha. Currently we have another zelda project in the works that is similarly dark but different story. It is a bit away from being done, but I can assure you the animation has greatly been improved. Maybe if you'd like to beta test it for me, I can put you on the project manager? PM me if you are interested!

Unreal.

This was nigh on perfect. Voice acting, plot, humour. Everything was top notch.

It moved at a fantastic pace, perfect for a series which I feel has been parodied to an extent where viewers may not want to see drawn out scenes that may have seen/played before.

Like I said, the voice acting was top notch. Really clear to hear and nice accents to each character. The humour was brilliant. I don't recall seeing a joke in this flash that has been done before. Link's house fire was just hilarious, such a random twist I couldn't stop laughing. In fact, his childhood as a whole was appalling, you did a great job highlighting that.

I have no complaints with this flash apart from maybe the animation started to lower in quality towards the end. It was still fantastically done and with so much effort obviously put into it, it makes me feel slightly douchey to say that.

Zelda's sword throw... brilliant.

Excellent submission.

Haha, funny shiiit!

Voice acting was great and jokes/puns were pretty funny.

Good job

CyanSandwich responds:

Thanks :)

Hey alright.

The animation was decent, and the plot quite funny.

The quality of the voice acting for Mr. Black could have been better but it was okay overall.

Funny stuff man, good work.

I reckon Ken is the best street fighter character because he is so versatile. Opponent keeps guarding? Just use his throw. That's just one of his many moves that can help you win titles.
